The BST Canister has undergone testing at the Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology.

IT has been established that the BST Canister dramatically increases the longevity of film when used in conjunction with proper air–change, temperature, and humidity control. The filter is chemically inert and will not react with the film as the tests below indicate.
